Privacy policy: Nessaid Calculator

Last updated 29 September 2026

Nessaid Calculator is an Android app published by Nessaid Android Studio. It is a calculator with scientific, programmer and statistics modes, a unit converter, finance calculators and a currency converter. This policy explains what it does and does not collect.

What the app collects: nothing

The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. It does not ask for your name, your email address or any other personal detail, and there is nowhere for it to send one. There is no analytics and no crash reporting.

Nothing you calculate leaves your device. No expression you type, no answer, no stored value, no figure you enter into a finance form and no amount you convert is ever transmitted anywhere. The two things that do use the network are described below, and neither of them carries any of it.

What stays on your device

All of it is in the app's own private storage on the phone, and uninstalling the app removes it. Nothing in that list leaves the device.

Exchange rates

The currency converter downloads a table of rates. The request is a plain fetch of a public file from one of a handful of rate services; it carries no account, no key and no identifier, and it says nothing about you or about what you are converting. The app asks for one file covering every currency and does the arithmetic on your phone, so the service is never told which pair you are interested in, let alone the amount.

It fetches at most once an hour while the converter is open, and when you press the refresh key. As with any internet request, the service can see the IP address it came from. You can choose which of the services the app may use, in the menu under Rate sources.

Advertising

The app shows one banner above the keypad, and an occasional full-screen ad on the way back from the operations guide, from Google AdMob.

Google's ad SDK sends four kinds of information to Google in order to select and measure ads: your device's advertising ID, your interactions with the ads themselves, diagnostic information about how the SDK performed, and your IP address, from which an approximate location can be estimated. The app requests no location permission and cannot see where you are; the estimate comes from the IP address every internet connection carries.

That is Google's processing, not ours. We receive no personal data from it and see only aggregate performance figures. This is also what the app declares on its Google Play data safety page, and the two are meant to say the same thing.

Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services

You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, in your phone's settings under Google, then Ads. The calculator works the same either way; the ads simply become less relevant.

Consent, for users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before requesting any ad, and your answer is stored on your device by Google's User Messaging Platform. Choosing not to consent to personalised ads does not restrict any part of the calculator.

Permissions, and why

The app itself requests no permissions. The ones you may see listed come from Google's ad SDK, which declares them in its own manifest:

None of these prompts you. They are install-time declarations, not permissions you are asked to grant.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Selling data

We do not sell your data. We have none to sell.

Changes
