Privacy policy: Nessaid Bowling
Last updated 9 October 2026
Nessaid Bowling is a ten-pin bowling game for Android, published by Nessaid Android Studio. You bowl with one swipe up the lane, alone, against bots, or with other phones in the same room. This policy explains what it does and does not collect.
What the app collects: nothing
The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. Your games, your scores, the name you play under and your settings are stored on your device only, and nobody, the developer included, can see them. There is no analytics, no crash reporting and no usage tracking.
The one thing that leaves your device over the internet is advertising data, collected by Google AdMob so that it can serve the ads in the app. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you are asked before that happens.
What stays on your device
- The name you play under, and the bots you have named, to put them on the scoresheet.
- Your settings: the language, sound, bumpers, the difficulty, the turn factor, your ball, the view, and whether your throws are chalked.
- A key made on your phone the first time you play with others, so that the phones in a game can tell each other apart. It never leaves the phones you play with.
All of it is in the app's own private storage on the phone, and uninstalling the app removes it.
What goes to the other phones in a game
When you host or join a game with other phones, your phone talks directly to those phones, in the same room: over Wi-Fi, a hotspot, Bluetooth, or Google's Nearby connection between phones. It does not go through the internet. What goes between them is the game, and only to the phones in it:
- The name you play under. Your phone's model name is added to it for the game, so that two phones in a room can be told apart.
- Your throws, the ball you chose, and the scores.
Nothing is sent to the developer or to any server. A game ends when its host closes it, and nothing of it remains except on the phones that were in it.
Advertising
The app shows a banner ad on its screens, and occasionally a full-screen ad after a game has finished, from Google AdMob. This is the only part of the app that uses the internet.
To select and measure ads, Google's ad SDK collects and processes your device's advertising ID, your interactions with the ads themselves, device and app information such as the model, the Android version and the app's version, and your IP address, from which an approximate location can be estimated. The app itself never reads your location; the estimate comes from the IP address every internet connection carries.
That is Google's processing, not ours. We receive no personal data from it and see only aggregate performance figures. This is also what the app declares on its Google Play data safety page, and the two are meant to say the same thing.
Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
Some banners advertise other Nessaid Android apps. Those are drawn by the app itself from what is already inside it: showing one sends nothing anywhere, and touching one opens that app's page in Google Play.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, in your phone's settings under Google, then Ads. The game works the same either way; the ads simply become less relevant.
Consent, for users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before requesting any ad, and your answer is stored on your device by Google's User Messaging Platform. Choosing not to consent to personalised ads does not restrict any part of the game. Where that form was shown, Settings ends with Privacy choices, which opens it again at any time.
Permissions, and why
A game on one phone, alone or against bots, asks for nothing. The permissions below are asked for only when you host or join a game with other phones, and only the ones the way you chose needs.
- Nearby devices (Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi devices): finding the other phones in the room and connecting to them. If you refuse, you cannot play with other phones that way; everything else works.
- Location, on Android 11 and older only: on those versions Android does not allow a Bluetooth scan without it. The app never reads your location. If you refuse, Bluetooth games cannot find each other on those phones.
- Notifications: the notice shown while a game with other phones is running, which is also the way back to it. If you refuse, the game still runs and the notice is hidden.
The rest are install-time declarations that never prompt you:
- Run a foreground service (connected device), and keep the phone awake for it: keeping your place in a game with other phones while the app is not in front, so that the others are not left waiting.
- Wi-Fi state and multicast: finding a game on the same Wi-Fi network or hotspot.
- Internet, network state and the advertising ID: used only by Google AdMob, as described above.
The code that joins a game can be scanned with the camera. That uses Google's own scanner, which is part of Google Play services: the app has no camera permission and never sees the picture. The game does not use your microphone, contacts, files or phone.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Selling data
We do not sell your data. We have none to sell.
Your data rights
Because everything except advertising data stays on your device, there is no account to delete and nothing for us to hand over or erase. Uninstalling the app removes all of it. For the advertising data the controller is Google, and its privacy policy, linked above, covers access and deletion.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the current version is always at this address.
